The original design for the creature in the ‘Predator’ movies…

So, there’s this scene in Predators where Topher Grace is getting chased by what our heroes assume is a predator, but turns out to be some other creature, presumably yet another species that the predators deposited on that planet to hunt (unless I got that wrong).  I didn’t get a good look at it, but I thought it kinda looked like this guy.  If so, and if that was intentional, that’s pretty great.

Saw ‘Predators’ with Gina and Scott this afternoon (after a delicious lunch at Mitsuwa). I thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing, but Laurence Fishburne was clearly the best ever.

Still can’t get over his performance, especially his going-to-sleep-now moment. Amazing. I’m not even joking.

I love that he’s got all the predator-gear
